General Description

RETROTHERM underfloor insulation is ideal for adding extra insulation to your exisiting home or meeting the requirements of the building code for new home construction.

RETROTHERM is simple to install, it simply slides into place. The unique concertina edges allow for an airtight friction fit. Fixing can be enhanced using  a finger friendly RETROclip system or by using water based glues. RETROTHERM should be fitted hard up against the underside of the floorboards, as per the guidelines establised in 2006. Ensure there is no air gap, as any air movement between the insulating material and the floor boards will negatively impact on the overall thermal rating of the floor.

RETROTHEM coomplies with all the requirments of the building code so no BRANZ appraisal is required.
